Virgle "Shrimp" Williams, 95, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2013 at his home.He was born on May 12, 1918 in Nashville.He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Williams; parents, Jim and Maggie Byrd Williams; son, Steve Williams; two sisters and two brothers.Virgle is survived by his; son, Michael (Linda) Williams; daughter, Debby Champagne; grandson, Matthew Williams; granddaughter, Lindsey Stewart; and two great-granddaughters.He was a member of the North Hamilton Church of Christ.The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with David V.
