James Mulkey Sr.

James" Bud" Edward Mulkey Sr., passed away on Sunday, March, 2, 2014. Bud was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked as an auto mechanic for Chevron until his retirement. Bud was an active member of Georgetown Baptist Church. Bud is preceded in death by parents, Malcom R.Mulkey and Agnes Lively; first wife, Evelyn Mulkey; brother, Richard Mulkey. Bud is survived by his wife, Sandra Mulkey; son, James "Bud" (Laura) Mulkey; daughters, Sherri (Billy) Chauncey and Terri (Mike) Stacks; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Green; sisters, Toni Munsey and Teresa Dill. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel and from noon-2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service for Bud will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Earl Farris officiating. Interment will follow to Chattanooga Memorial Park. Employed at Hardwick Clothes, he was a cherished employee and will be greatly missed.
