Diane Louise Hulgan
Diane Louise Hulgan, 70, of East Ridge, passed away on March 25, 2024. She was born in Rockford, IL.,on December 25, 1953 to the late, Norman and Dorothy Ronan. She was a graduate of East Ridge H.S. Class of 1972. She received her nursing degree from the University of Chattanooga in 1976 and went on to get her Masters Degree in Nursing. She worked for and retired from Parkridge Medical Center after 44 years of dedicated service.
She was an avid sports fan, particularly when it came to the “UT Vols”, but her favorite time was spent rooting her children and grandchildren in the various sports they participated in. She enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. Diane liked to travel, especially her trips to New York City and Las Vegas with her sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Sidney Hulgan, and her aforementioned parents, and a step-mom, Mary Ronan.
Left to cherish Diane’s memory are her children, David (Catherine) Hulgan, April Hulgan, Kelly (Jon) Rollins, grandchildren, Aubbie; Cason; Braxton; Peyton; Kimberly; Marcus; Addison; Jacob; and Bridgette, brother, Michael Ronan, sister, Donna (Steve) Aaron, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday March 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Father Mike Nolan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Sidney at the Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff and nurses who assisted with her care these last 10 months.
