Dalton, Ga., Fire Chief Bruce Satterfield talks on October 14, 2011, about the fire that destroyed several business in Peacock Alley.The investigation into the Peacock Alley fire in Dalton has been moved from Thursday to Friday due to scheduling conflicts, Dalton police spokesman Bruce Frazier said in a news release.
The northbound lane of Hamilton Street will be closed in front of Peacock Alley on Friday starting about 8 a.m., and it will stay closed throughout the duration of the investigation, Frazier said.
