Obviously congestion and traffic in Chattanooga are at an all-time high. It's unsustainable, inefficient, dangerous, etc. I won't bore you with all the adjectives there are to describe this issue. I have shouted these things from the mountaintops until I become blue in the face. I'm told again and again that this is something that will never change. Fine. OK. Whatever.
If we wanted a solution badly enough, then we could find an answer to this regular headache.
Here is one small observation about this: The morning and afternoon work commutes (7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) are not the best times for cyclists to do their rides while in the lanes of any secondary roads, which are also used by motorists. I thought this would be common sense. I was wrong.
