Original story:

Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Tenn., will be hosting a Labor Day barbecue and picnic in Georgetown, Tennessee.

The event will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 2 at Vital Buffalo Farm, located at 8220 Highway 60, according to a news release.

Entertainment will be provided by Cody Harvey and Mountain Cove Bluegrass.

"It will be an afternoon of family fun, bluegrass music, and celebration of our shared conservative values," Fleischmann said in a statement.

Tickets are $25 per person or family and are available at www.chuckforcongress.com/bbq.

The event is a fundraiser as the five-term Ooltewah lawmaker seeks the seat again in 2020.

In July, his campaign announced it had raised $1.4 million through the second quarter.

Last year, he faced challenges from Democratic opponent Danielle Mitchell and independent Rick Tyler, but he ultimately won with nearly 64% percent of the vote.
