CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A brewery in Tennessee is honoring the 150th anniversary of a local newspaper with a commemorative beer.

The "Watchdog 150" will be available for a limited time at the Heaven & Ale Brewing Company in Chattanooga, the Times Free Press reported. The beer was named by columnist Mark Kennedy and describes the paper's mission to be a watchdog for the community and a trustworthy news source.

Heaven & Ale owner Joe Winland describes the brew as a "winter warmer."

"None of the spices are particularly overwhelming; everything meshes really nicely. It's still got a nice-like bready, caramelly presence to it," Winland said.
