Alabama signed 21 players Wednesday as college football's early signing period for 2020 began. Here are capsules of those signees:

WDE Will Anderson

6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Hampton, Georgia (Dutchtown)

Anderson tallied 22 sacks for a Dutchtown defense that allowed just 7.7 points per game this past season. He is the nation's No. 5 weakside defensive end and No. 78 prospect overall according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, and he committed June 17.

S Brian Branch

6-0, 185, Tyrone, Georgia (Sandy Creek)

Branch finished his career as Sandy Creek's all-time interceptions leader and had his most productive year as a junior, when he tallied 58 tackles and five interceptions. The nation's No. 3 safety and No. 58 prospect overall, he committed April 19.

WDE Chris Braswell

6-3, 220, Baltimore (St. Frances Academy)

Braswell is a consensus five-star prospect who has been invited to play in the Under Armour All-America Game. He is the nation's No. 1 weakside defensive end and No. 17 prospect overall, and he committed Nov. 25, 2018, over scholarship offers from Clemson, Georgia and LSU.

ILB Jackson Bratton

6-3, 233, Muscle Shoals, Alabama (Muscle Shoals)

Bratton was a Butkus Award semifinalist for the high school level this past season after compiling a whopping 273 tackles during his sophomore and junior years. He is the nation's No. 8 inside linebacker and No. 172 prospect overall and committed March 24, 2018.

TE Caden Clark

6-4, 258, Akron, Ohio (Archbishop Hoban)

Clark had his most productive season as a junior, amassing 30 receptions for 650 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is the nation's No. 18 tight end and No. 488 prospect overall and committed July 31, 2018.

OT Javion Cohen

6-4, 296, Phenix City, Alabama (Central)

Cohen was a late recruiting flip from Auburn to Alabama and earned a spot in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. He is the nation's No. 27 offensive tackle and No. 340 prospect overall and committed Dec. 11.

RB Kyle Edwards

6-0, 210, Destrehan, Louisiana (Destrehan)

Edwards rushed for more than 1,000 yards and collected 16 touchdowns while helping Destrehan to Louisiana's Class 5A state championship. He is the nation's No. 29 running back and No. 420 prospect overall and committed Aug. 23.

WR Thaiu Jones-Bell

6-0, 190, Hallandale, Florida (Miami Carol City)

Jones-Bell had 38 catches for 745 yards and six touchdowns this past season after amassing 38 receptions as a junior, with 17 of those for scores. He is the nation's No. 20 receiver and No. 101 prospect overall and committed May 20.

ILB Demouy Kennedy

6-3, 215, Theodore, Alabama (Theodore)

Kennedy racked up 69 tackles and eight tackles for loss this past season, and he returned an interception for a touchdown. He also had three offensive scores out of the wildcat formation and blocked an extra point. He is the nation's No. 3 inside linebacker and No. 34 prospect overall and committed June 9.

DT Jah-Marien Latham

6-3, 297, Reform, Alabama (Pickens County)

Latham tallied 69 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and eight sacks for the Tornadoes, who reached the Class 1A semifinals. He is the nation's No. 18 defensive tackle and No. 194 prospect overall and committed Nov. 19, 2018.

C Seth McLaughlin

6-4, 278, Buford, Georgia (Buford)

McLaughlin was the anchor of a Buford offense that compiled 467 points and 3,400 rushing yards this past season, grading out at 91% with only one sack allowed. He is the nation's No. 9 center and No. 469 prospect overall and committed March 24.

RB Jase McClellan

6-0, 205, Aledo, Texas (Aledo)

McClellan rushed 842 times for 6,468 yards and 122 touchdowns during his Aledo career, and he also had 28 receptions for 429 yards and three scores. He is the nation's No. 8 running back and No. 43 prospect overall and committed Wednesday night after being committed to Oklahoma for nearly two years.

S Malachi Moore

6-0, 180, Trussville, Alabama (Hewitt-Trussville)

Moore racked up 83 tackles, five tackles for loss and four interceptions this past season, returning two of his picks for scores. He is the nation's No. 17 safety and No. 178 prospect overall and committed Aug. 13, 2018.

CB Jahquez Robinson

6-2, 185, Jacksonville, Florida (Sandalwood)

Robinson is a consensus top-40 cornerback nationally, with Rivals.com ranking him 16th at the position. He is the nation's No. 303 prospect overall and committed Feb. 18, picking the Crimson Tide over scholarship offers from Florida, LSU, Oklahoma and South Carolina.

OLB Quandarrius Robinson

6-5, 217, Birmingham, Alabama (Jackson-Olin)

Robinson tallied 40 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks as a junior in 2018, but he had his senior season cut short by an injury. He is the nation's No. 6 outside linebacker and No. 46 prospect overall and committed June 11.

LB Drew Sanders

6-5, 230, Denton, Texas (Ryan)

Sanders collected 119 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and eight sacks as a senior, and he returned two of his three interceptions for touchdowns. He also rushed for 10 touchdowns and threw five touchdown passes on only eight attempts. He is the nation's No. 2 athlete prospect and No. 21 prospect overall and committed April 29.

DT Timothy Smith

6-4, 325, Sebastian, Florida (Sebastian River)

Smith tallied 62 tackles, 32 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as a senior, when he also forced four fumbles and recovered one. The nation's No. 7 defensive tackle and No. 85 prospect overall, he committed July 17.

ATH Kristian Story

6-1, 213, Lanett, Alabama (Lanett)

Story set the Alabama state high school record by compiling 13,219 yards of total offense, and he tallied nine interceptions on defense in his junior season alone. He is the nation's No. 6 athlete and No. 208 prospect overall and committed July 18.

CB Ronald Williams

6-2, 188, Ferriday, Louisiana (Hutchinson CC)

Williams played in 10 games this past season for the Kansas community college, recording 31 tackles, five pass breakups and three interceptions. He is the No. 5 cornerback in junior college and the No. 13 overall prospect from that level. He committed Wednesday.

RB Roydell Williams

5-10, 207, Hueytown, Alabama (Hueytown)

Williams surpassed 1,000 rushing yards each of the past three seasons and finished his Hueytown career with 5,929 yards and 84 touchdowns. The nation's No. 9 running back and No. 86 prospect overall, he committed Nov. 24, 2018.

QB Bryce Young

6-0, 190, Santa Ana, California (Mater Dei)

Young threw for 4,258 yards as a senior, completing 72.6% of his passes and racking up 58 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He is the nation's No. 1 dual-threat quarterback and No. 6 prospect overall and committed Sept. 22.
